Wild Rice

This recipe is inspired by a Filipino dish. If you have leftover rice that needs a little umph, this recipe will take your leftovers to the next level.

1 tbs olive oil
5 large white mushrooms, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 cups of leftover cooked brown rice (unseasoned)
¼ tsp of salt
¼ tsp of black pepper


  1. Heat a large skillet on medium high heat. Add olive oil once hot.
  2. Add the mushrooms and garlic cloves and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and saute for 10 minutes or until rice is crispy.
  4. Add salt and pepper.
