5 tomatoes, chopped
2 cups of water
¼ tsp of salt
½ tsp of oregano
½ tsp of basil
½ tsp of black pepper
¼ tsp of garlic powder
2 parsnips, peeled and chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
½ cup of corn


  1. In a large pot, add the tomatoes, water, salt, oregano, basil, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat on medium high until it boils then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the parsnips, celery, carrots, and corn and continue simmering and for 20 minutes or until the carrots soften. Remember to continue to stir occasionally.
  3. Serve hot.
