These tender chicken wings are church inspired. I got the idea from seeing people cook huge bathes of food in those huge aluminum foil pans. Wings are fattier than breasts, so naturally they have more calories. But the fats in the wings are good fats, so it’s perfect for the Med Diet.

¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp of cayenne
1 tbs of sugar
4 large chicken wings
Pinch of salt
- In a medium sized pot, add all of the ingredients except for the chicken wings and salt. Bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken wings to the slow cooker then cover with the simmering liquid.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours
- Serve tender chicken wings over top a bed of rice. Add small amount of salt to each wing.
