1 cup of dried split peas
½ cup of dried lentils
4 cups of water
3 potatoes, chopped into small cubes
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
½ tsp of black pepper
¼ tsp of salt


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
