How to Cook Shrimp Fast

Shrimp is very versatile. And let’s not forget how tasty it is. There isn’t really an easiest way to cook shrimp because all of the methods are really simple. You can saute it for 2-3 minutes, boil it for 3 to 4 minutes, or poach it for about 10 minutes. You know that it is done when it has a pink tint to it. But do not overcook it or else it will be rubbery.

My favorite combination of seasonings on shrimp is black pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, paprika, and a little bit of salt. I keep it as simple as possible. With shrimp it is important that you don’t try to overwhelm it with flavors that come out of left field.

By now I hope you have a better idea for how to cook shrimp. The more you test out recipes with shrimp the better you will be at cooking it. Also for the sake of cheapness. Please by easy peel shrimp. Don’t buy shrimp that is already peeled because it can cost over 2 times more than easy peel shrimp. If you have money like that go for it. But I’m going to keep it cheap and peel it myself.
