Pulled Chicken Sandwich

I love slow cooked recipes! This recipe is the perfect example of why. Throw chicken in the slow cooker before you leave and come home to a ready made dinner.

1 lb bone in chicken breast
¼ tsp of salt
¼ tsp of black pepper
⅛ tsp of tarragon
⅛ tsp of cilantro
⅛ tsp of parsley
8 slices of low sodium, whole wheat bread


  1. Cook chicken in slow cooker for 5-8 hours on low.
  2. Remove chicken from slow cooker, leaving behind drippings. Use a fork to pull the chicken apart. Then place chicken back in slow cooker and mix with drippings.
  3. Mix chicken with salt, black pepper, tarragon, cilantro, and parsley.
  4. Serve on toasted bread.
