Ingredients

1 lb of salmon filets (4 filets)
2 tsp of vegetable oil
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Rub the vegetable oil over the salmon filets.
  3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a cast iron pan to medium high heat. Once hot, sear the salmon filets for 1 minutes of each side.
  5. Place salmon in oven and cook for 8 minutes if the filet is less than ½ inch thick. Cook for 14 minutes if filet is 1 inch thick.
