2 carrots, chopped
2 sticks of celery, chopped
1 corn cob, decobbed
¼ tsp of black pepper
¼ tsp of garlic powder
¼ tsp of salt
- Place Navy beans in a bowl add 4 cups of water and cover. Let sit covered for 6-8 hours or until rehydrated.
- Pour the beans and the water in a medium sized saucepan. Add the vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Heat to a low boil and cook for 35 minutes.
- Add the carrots, celery, and corn and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Drain the pot and serve.
