This healthy salsa recipe is full of flavor, but also good for you! The vegetables and spices in this  salsa recipe truly make this dish. This healthy salsa recipe is a meal by itself. Eat it as a topping on garlic bread to really dig in.

3 roma tomatoes, peeled and sliced
⅛ tsp of chili powder
⅛ tsp of cayenne
⅛ tsp of salt
1 cup of cooked black beans
1 cup of cooked corn
1 bell pepper, sliced


  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the tomatoes to a boil, reduce heat, and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the chili powder, cayenne, and salt, and allow to simmer for 5 more minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
  3. Divide the tomato sauce among 3 plates. Top each with corn and black beans. Place bell pepper slices beside the salsa.
