Chicken Biscuits

½ biscuit dough
¾ lb of boneless, skinless chicken cut into 3 pieces
1 tsp of vegetable oil
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp of black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Bake the biscuit dough until done, about 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, rub vegetable oil on the chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear top and bottom of chicken on high heat to form golden brown crust. This should take 1 to 2 minutes. Then add the chicken to the oven and cook for 8-12 minutes, depending on how thick your chicken is.
  4. Slice the biscuits in half and add one piece of chicken to each biscuit.
