Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

No one likes bland oatmeal. This healthy oatmeal packs an irresistible apple-cinnamon punch.

2 cups of old fashioned Quaker Oats
3 ½ cups of water
1 apple, diced into small pieces
¼ cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
¼ tsp of ground nutmeg


  1. In medium saucepan, bring water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a gentle boil, stir in oats.
  2. Change heat to medium. Then cook for about 5 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove oatmeal from heat. Stir in apples.
